Understanding Auto-Billing for your Account
Last updated
Auto Billing is initially set to Β£0 when you create an account. However, you can adjust the auto billing settings to charge your account once your credits or storage are depleted. You have the flexibility to choose any amount you'd like. These settings can be modified on the Billing Usage & Settings page.
Auto-Billing for Credits Auto-billing is a convenient system that ensures your account always has enough credits to support messaging and purchasing additional characters (storage).
How It Works: When auto-billing is enabled and a recharge amount is selected, the system monitors your credit balance. If your balance falls below a set minimum threshold, your saved payment method is automatically charged for the selected amount.
Example: Letβs say you enable auto-billing with a recharge amount of Β£100. When your account balance drops below the minimum youβve set, Β£100 will be charged to your credit card, and the credits are added to your account wallet.
Key Benefits:
Seamless and uninterrupted access to resources.
Automated recharges eliminate the need for manual top-ups.
The system ensures your wallet always has sufficient credits by deducting the necessary amount for purchases and adding any surplus credits to your wallet.
Notification and Process Flow In auto-billing scenarios:
The system initiates the process automatically.
The account owner is notified of the transaction.
Operations continue without any disruption.
Why Enable Auto-Billing and Auto-Recharge? These features are designed to provide users with:
Continuous access to critical resources like AI-Agents and storage.
Hassle-free account management with automated processes.
Peace of mind knowing your account stays active without interruptions.
